I'm a sophomore.I haven't declared a major because I can't imagine limiting myself to one field of study.College has to be one of the greatest experiences of my life! If I had the money I would attend for the rest of my life.My first semester at UCA, I failed Professor Moore's comp1 class. I grew up in a Village surrounded by biologists, librarians, historians, musicians, technicians, lawyers, and honest-to-god rocket scientists. Most of the people I know have multiple degrees (one has something like eight), so I'm used to being around people who could wipe me into the floor with their IQ alone.My younger brother being one of those people capable of that latter. My passion is learning. I'm never happier than when encountering something new. "Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints." - I appreciate beauty in many of its forms, and therefore I always carry a camera on my person. At some point I'll take a proper photography course.I enjoy writing, specifically, creative writing (fiction or non).Mostly I write poetry -I love how everyone walks away with a different message- but I have also written a few short stories. I have a bizarre attraction to bottles (preferably glass), and at this point I can safely say that I collect them. They glisten beautifully in the light, and their forms range from graceful and curving to geometric and alchemical... I am bewitched by their brilliance, and thus I hoard them as a dragon hoards precious gems.It's ridiculous, but everyone has something.
